Streaming Consent Requirements:

  • Consent confirmation is required for all matches in Australia - Junior and Senior.
  • Consent must be confirmed even if no junior players are taking part.
  • Consent confirmation is required within 72 hours of the scheduled stream start time, up until the stream is scheduled to end.
  • If consent is not confirmed, the scheduled stream will not go live.

How to confirm streaming consent:

Step 1: Review & acknowledge the information bar

When scheduling a stream, each user will see an information bar across the top of the screen. Review the information and click Acknowledge once read.

Step 2: Schedule your stream

Select your stream, tap Next to schedule your stream as per the usual process.

Step 3: Wait until it is within 72 hours of the scheduled match

The consent confirmation button only becomes available inside the 72-hour window before your scheduled stream’s start time.

Step 4: Confirm consent

Once you’re within that window, look for the Confirm button next to your stream. This is located on the Home page, under Upcoming Streams, or in the Manage Stream section.

When confirming, the user is confirming that consent has been obtained from any under-18 participant, or that none are expected to appear in the stream.

Confirmation can be completed at any point during the 72-hour window, including after your stream has been scheduled to start, right up until the scheduled end time of the stream.

The stream will go live once confirmed and will be reflected in your club's list of upcoming streams as a green tick consent icon.

If consent is not confirmed, the stream will not go live.
