Charging Your Kit
The V2 FrogBox kit includes a camera and encoder with in-built batteries, delivering up to 12 hours of battery life.
For best performance, we recommend fully charging the kit before each game. A full charge takes around 4 hours.
Monitoring Battery Life
Clubs can monitor the battery life for their kit as follows:
Camera
Turn the camera on (press the black button until solid white light) and monitor the battery level whilst charging using the light indicators as follows:

| 26-50% | Slow purple blink | 3 - 6 hours |
| 51-75% | Breathing purple | 6 - 11.5 hours |
| 97-100% | Solid purple | 11.5 - 12 hours |
Encoder
Turn the encoder on (hold the power button for 5 seconds) and check the battery symbol on the screen to monitor battery level:

*The encoder battery percentage currently has an issue on low % displays and will show 1% even when there is still 4 hours of battery life left.
Extending Battery Life
While we recommend charging your kit before each match to get up to 12 hours of streaming, we understand that sometimes kits aren’t fully charged due to busy club operations, mains power issues, or you’re planning extended play with no time to recharge in between matches.
In these situations, FrogBox Battery Expansion Packs can provide a reliable backup power source. They’re fully compatible with Version 2 cameras and encoders and extends battery life by a further 9 hours (total 21 hours). They can also power Version 1 cameras and encoders as well as scoring devices such as phones, tablets, and laptops, helping your match day operations run smoothly without interruption.
