As you may have seen, Cricket Scotland has partnered with PlayHQ, bringing player registration and live scoring together on one platform to streamline domestic cricket operations (see announcement here).
As part of this transition:
- Cricket Scotland and Regional Association Match Centres have been deactivated
- The Cricket Live Score EU and Cricket Scotland Live apps were switched off on 1 April 2026
The Important Bit: You Can Still Stream with FrogBox as Normal
There is no change to your ability to stream with FrogBox. Clubs can continue to:
- Stream as usual
- Generate, edit and share highlights
- Manage graphics, streams through FrogBox Go
Your live streams and highlights will soon integrate directly into PlayHQ.
What’s Changed (and What to Be Aware Of)
While streaming continues as normal, there are a few small changes to be aware of:
1. Fixture Visibility in FrogBox Go
You can still:
- Log into FrogBox Go
- Schedule and manage your streams
- Live chat with Customer Team on match days
- View upcoming matches and historical streams
However, you may see an error when scheduling a stream if the match has not yet been marked as “Visible” in PlayHQ by your association.
What to do:
- Try again later, or
- Contact your association to confirm when the fixture will be made visible
2. Access to Past Highlight Editing
You’ll still have full access to your historical streams in FrogBox Go.
The only change: Editing highlight timings for past streams is no longer available.
All future streams and highlights will continue to generate and can be edited as normal.
3. Lilypad: Duplicate Club Listings
When logging into Lilypad, you may notice your club appears twice in the top-right dropdown menu.
Here’s why:
- One entry is your new PlayHQ-connected club
- The other is your previous account, now labelled “(Legacy)”
What to do:
- Continue to use Lilypad as normal
- Use the non-legacy version for all current and future activity
- Select the “Legacy” version to access all historical content from before 22 April
