Who This Applies To

Any club currently streaming to:

If you are using one of the above shared YouTube channels, you must take action immediately.

Why This Is Important

Due to a recent Google policy change, YouTube is now enforcing a limit of:

Maximum 10 simultaneous LIVE streams per YouTube channel

Because many clubs stream at the same time (e.g. Saturday fixtures), shared channels regularly approach this limit.

If more than 10 matches attempt to go live on the same channel at once, additional streams will fail to start.

If you continue using a shared channel, you risk being unable to stream on match day.

Creating your own channel also future-proofs your club in case YouTube introduces additional streaming limits or policy changes in the future.

What You Must Do

To guarantee your ability to stream, you must:

  1. Create your own YouTube channel

  2. Enable live streaming on that channel

  3. Disconnect from the shared channel

  4. Connect your FrogBox Go account to your new channel

This ensures:

  • Your stream cannot be blocked by other clubs

  • You are not affected by the 10-stream limit on shared channels

  • You retain full control of your broadcasts

⚠ Important: First‑time live streaming activation may take up to 24 hours to be approved by YouTube. Please complete this well before match day.

Additional Benefits of Your Own Channel

With your own channel, you can:

  • Brand the channel with your club’s logo and banners

  • Open up live chat to engage with spectators on match day

  • Access viewing analytics for each stream

  • Upload custom thumbnails and “waiting for” screens

We recommend adding frogbox‑youtube‑1@interactsport.com as a manager so we can assist with technical support or troubleshooting if needed.

Important Notes

  • Your previous match videos will remain permanently hosted on our shared channels. It is not possible to transfer them to a new channel due to the large amount of data involved.

  • If you’ve already scheduled any upcoming streams (within the next 6 weeks), they will still appear on the shared channel unless you delete them first within FrogBox Go.

  • Once you’ve linked your own channel, please delete those scheduled streams, refresh your browser, and reschedule them so they publish to your new channel.

Completing this process ensures your matches go live without interruption and gives your club full control over its broadcasts.
